From Time

Studying Fashion History has always been interesting to me. I believe tha the development of trends and style through time is directly related to the progress of culture. My favorite era would most probably be the 50's or the late 70's. During the World War II and the 1940's, clothing was influenced by rationing and limited quantities of fabrics and materials so the most popular look was a simple outfit. This made the 1950's an economic boom and style became more elegant. When it comes to attempting to look classy, I always look for inspiration in 50's icons like Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly. The Chanel Suit was a popular trend during the 1950's that is making it to the current trends. The Chanel Suit is basically a two-piece suit that consists of a jacket and a skirt. The Chanel Suit is reinvented season after season by Karl Lagerfeld and the one that I'm wearing in the photos below is a more modernized version of this. Here are some shots from a shoot that I had with the photographer Ralph Hornilla. The concept was to create vintage looks and looks that represented the current pop culture. I absolutely love the effects of the photos and how it turns from vintage to bright.
